Pharmacy First Thresholds: Share Your Views

Community Pharmacy England wants to hear opinions from pharmacy owners in Surrey and Sussex on Pharmacy First thresholds.

A short survey is now running to gather views on the scheduled increases in the Pharmacy First monthly payment threshold and the effects of the GP collective action on your pharmacy. Given the concerns we’ve been hearing about meeting the Pharmacy First thresholds, this is an important chance for you to feed into Community Pharmacy England’s monitoring of the situation.

The ten-minute survey, open until 11.59pm on Monday 26th August, can be completed here.

Please note, this survey link is for independent and non-CCA multiples only, as CCA multiples have been asked to respond via their head offices.

The polling enables pharmacy owners to input directly into the September meeting of the Community Pharmacy England Committee, where they will discuss the 2024/25 negotiations and working with the new Government.

The results of this poll will contribute to the national negotiator’s ongoing efforts to raise awareness of the extreme challenges pharmacies are facing and push for an increase in core funding. This information and outcomes from the committee meeting will be published on the Community Pharmacy England website in due course.

Community Pharmacy Surrey & Sussex hopes that many local pharmacy owners submit their views to feed directly into Community Pharmacy England’s work.
