Urgent care: the role of the community pharmacy and the NHS CPCS scheme e-learning
This e-learning programme contains information to support you to deliver the NHS CPCS to a high standard and how to integrate your team to support urgent care.
It provides facts about the referral process between NHS 111 and the NHS CPCS. It also supports community pharmacists and their teams to ensure people have a positive journey through the system when they need an urgent supply of a medicine, or support in managing a low-acuity (minor) illness. Guide to returning to pharmacy practice
The aim of this guide is to support pharmacy professionals in returning to community pharmacy after a gap in professional practice.
We recognise that some pharmacy professionals who are returning to practice via the temporary register, or otherwise, may need to complete some continuing professional development to feel confident in their role and this will be different for each individual.
We have included a self-assessment framework to help identify personal learning needs and topic areas to meet those.
ACPT
The ACPT programme continues to be available to pharmacy technicians in England who are registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). The programme is funded by Health Education England.
