Access Review Workshop – Community Pharmacy & PCN integration

You are invited to the Surrey Heartlands Access Review, Workshop 1 – Community Pharmacy and PCN integration. This session will allow for the newly appointed Community Pharmacy PCN Leads to meet with PCN Clinical Directors and will allow for table top working to enable local relationships to develop. PCN CDs are encouraged to bring with them their PCN pharmacist(s).

Discussions to include:

• • Introduction to the community pharmacy contractual framework (CPCF) for 2019/20 to 2023/24: supporting delivery for the NHS Long Term Plan. This will include:
    • information about the NHS Community Pharmacist Consultation Service (CPCS) which was launched on 29th Oct 2019
    • consideration about how the CPCF complements the new GP contract
  • Relationship building
  • Review of current ways of working looking at what works well and which areas could potentially be improved through collaborative working
  • Shared understanding of current workload and priorities
  • Consideration of digital solutions
  • Consideration of shared training opportunities
