What next for community pharmacy?

Pharmacy owners across the South East are invited to hear more about what lies ahead for the sector, and how Community Pharmacy England will work to improve the outlook following the General Election.

Chief Executive Janet Morrison and her team are heading to Gatwick on the evening of Wednesday 24th July to outline the work they are doing and discuss key issues with local pharmacy owners (or their representatives). Community Pharmacy England’s regional roadshow will describe the political outlook, explain the current situation regarding the CPCF, and outline their strategy to ease pharmacy pressures and make the case for a funding uplift.

This is your chance to share views, put questions to Community Pharmacy England, and learn how you can contribute to the ongoing work to get a better deal for community pharmacy.

Gary Warner, local independent pharmacy owner and Regional Representative for the South East, will also speak about his own experiences and hopes for the sector.

The event agenda will cover:

  • The ongoing critical pressures in community pharmacy;
  • Work on the Community Pharmacy Contractual Framework for 2024/25;
  • Our vision and strategy for the future of the sector;
  • How community pharmacy fits into the wider political and NHS climate;
  • How Community Pharmacy England operates; and
  • How you can input to and support our work.

Chairs and Chief Officers from all five LPCs in the South East will meet with Community Pharmacy England earlier in the day provide local context on national issues and raise any specific concerns.

Please join Community Pharmacy England on 24th July.
